Styria sells 50% of missMEDIA GmbH with Eisenberger & Herzog
Eisenberger & Herzog advised Styria Medienhaus Lifestyle GmbH & Co KG on the sale of 50% of the missMEDIA GmbH shares to the Swiss Digital Media House Holding AG. The transaction was closed on the day of signing.
MissMEDIA GmbH is the publisher and media owner of print magazine miss and operator of a comprehensive digital offering including the miss app, miss.at, Facebook and other social media channels. With 625,000 Facebook fans, 75,000 Instagram followers, an average of four million visits per month to miss.at and 150,000 missAPP downloads, miss has one of the highest reaches among the target group (women between the age of 16 and 35 years) in German-speaking countries. No other women’s media brand has a comparable fan engagement by its users on social media platforms.
Through the sale to Digital Media House Holding AG and the resulting joint venture, the expansion of missMEDIA GmbH’s digital offerings into the German and Swiss markets is now to be further continued.
