Philipp H. Zumbo is an independent lawyer associated with our Vienna office and works in the dispute resolution & litigation practice group.

Philipp holds law degrees (Mag iur, Dr iur) from the University of Vienna, where he was ranked as one of the best students of his class. During his studies, Philipp worked part time at the international law firm TaylorWessing, and at the Institute for Civil Procedure at the University of Vienna. While pursuing his doctoral degree he was a research and teaching assistant for three years at the Institute of Civil and Business Law at the Vienna University of Economics and Business, where he mainly taught corporate law. His ongoing research focuses on legal issues of corporate stocks.

Philipp received his doctorate with distinction. The subject of his dissertation was the remuneration of board members of publicly traded corporations. Prior to joining our firm, Philipp worked at Fiebinger Polak & Partner in Vienna.

Philipp H. Zumbo lectures regularly at the Executive Academy of the Vienna University of Economics and Business. Since autumn 2018, he has also coached a student team for the “Franz von Zeiller Civil Law Moot Court.”

Philipp speaks German and English.
