As of 17 April 2018, Stefan Wartinger, LL.M (30) will strengthen the Competition Practice Group of Eisenberger & Herzog (E&H) as an independent lawyer and substitute at the firm’s Vienna office. Thus E&H continues to follow their strategy of filling open lawyer and partner positions with talents from their own ranks.

Stefan Wartinger has been an Associate at Eisenberger & Herzog since 2013. His focus is on internal investigations in connection with cartel infringements, the preparation, submission and coordination of leniency applications before the European Commission and national competition authorities, the review of vertical and horizontal agreements (in particular e-commerce), as well as advice in merger control cases on a national and international basis.

Stefan Wartinger studied law at the University of Graz and earned his postgraduate LL.M. degree at Brussels School of Competition.

„We are always proud of the lawyers we have trained in our own ranks, and even more so when they decide to continue their career with us. As we proceed to grow as a law firm, our doors are open for young talents to move up the career latter and even advance from Associate to Equity Partner “, says Dr. Dieter Thalhammer, HR-partner at E&H.

„I am proud to be part of the firm’s young and dynamic team and I appreciate the importance placed on growth from within – to me this is all the motivation I need and I am excited to further pursue my personal career at E&H“, adds Stefan Wartinger.
